How the trade up finder works

  1. For every collection, rarity and wear it picks the cheapest input skin that can have that wear.
  2. It fills a contract with 10 copies (5 for Covert → knife) at the middle float of that wear.
  3. It calculates every outcome’s float, wear and live price, then the expected value, ROI and chance of profit after the fee you choose.

FAQ

Which CS2 trade ups are profitable right now?

This page tests every single-collection trade up contract – all rarities, all wears, normal and StatTrak™, plus the 5 Covert → knife recipe – against live market prices and lists the ones whose expected value beats the cost. The list is recalculated in your browser every time prices refresh (daily).

How is ROI calculated?

ROI = (expected value after the selected marketplace fee − contract cost) ÷ contract cost. Expected value is the sum of chance × price over every possible outcome.

What does chance of profit mean?

The probability that the single skin you receive is worth more than you paid for the inputs, after fees. A contract can have a positive ROI but a low chance of profit when one rare outcome carries the value.

Why can real results differ?

Prices are daily estimates, cheap inputs sell out, and the finder assumes a mid-wear float for each input. Always open the contract in the calculator, enter the real floats and prices you can buy at, and choose the fee of the market where you will sell.

Are knife trade ups included?

Yes. Choose “Covert → Knife/Gloves” to see 5-Covert contracts for every weapon case, with the full knife and glove pool priced.
