How to make a knife trade up as cheap as possible
- Pick a case whose Covert skins are cheap in Battle-Scarred or Well-Worn – the wear of the inputs changes the knife’s float, not the odds.
- Check the pool: a cheap contract from a case full of low-value finishes has a low expected value. Compare cost with EV, not just cost.
- Use the StatTrak™ filter only if you want a StatTrak™ knife – it removes gloves from the pool and usually costs more.
