How the alerts work
- Every contract, checked for you: about 2,500 single-collection trade ups (every rarity, wear and StatTrak™ option) are recalculated every few hours at live prices – the same contracts as the profitable trade ups finder.
- Your filters: ROI limit, Steam or marketplace prices, budget per contract (the cost of all inputs) and minimum chance of profit.
- No false alarms: a contract has to pass your filters in two price checks in a row, so a one-off price glitch does not send an email.
- No spam: the Monday report plus at most 2 alert emails a week (each with up to 5 contracts, at least 2 days apart), and the same contract is not sent again for 14 days.
- Ready to check: each contract opens in the trade up calculator with its inputs, odds, floats and every outcome, so you can check the live listings before you buy.
Steam prices or marketplace prices?
A trade up that looks great at Steam Market prices can lose money when you buy and sell on marketplaces, and the other way round. For example, a contract can show +50% ROI at Steam prices and −15% at the cheapest marketplace listings. Pick the prices you actually trade at; every alert shows both numbers. Marketplace prices use the cheapest listing across the marketplaces we track (see where our prices come from).
ROI is the average return over many contracts, not a promise for a single one, and it is shown before selling fees. Prices move quickly, so always check the live listings before you buy the inputs.
FAQ
How do CS2 trade up alerts work?
We recalculate every single-collection trade up contract (about 2,500, every rarity, wear and StatTrak™ option) every few hours at live prices. When a contract passes your filters – ROI limit, prices, budget and chance of profit – in two price checks in a row, you get an email with up to 5 contracts and a link that opens each one in the calculator.
How many emails will I get?
At most 3 a week: the weekly report on Monday plus up to 2 alert emails, at least 2 days apart, each with up to 5 contracts. A contract that was already in an alert is not sent again for 14 days. Alerts come with the weekly trade up report every Monday.
Should I pick Steam or marketplace prices?
Steam Market prices are what most trade up calculators use, but many traders buy inputs and sell outcomes on third-party marketplaces, where prices are often lower. A contract can be profitable at one and losing at the other, so pick the prices you actually trade at. Every alert shows both ROI figures.
Does the ROI include fees?
No. ROI is the average return over many contracts before any selling fee, the same as the default in our calculator. If you sell on Steam (13% fee) or a marketplace, choose a higher ROI limit to leave room for the fee.
Why did I not get an alert for a contract I see in the finder?
The finder shows the latest prices, while an alert needs the contract to pass your filters in two price checks in a row, so one-off price glitches are skipped. It is also skipped if it was in one of your alerts in the last 14 days, or if you already got an alert email in the last day.
Is it free and how do I stop it?
Yes, it is free. Every email has a link to change your filters or unsubscribe from everything in one click. Your email address is only used for these emails.
